Whatman plc - Change of Dividend Record Date

In its preliminary results for the year ended 31 December 2006 announced today, Whatman plc stated that the Board had recommended the payment of a final dividend of 3.48 pence payable on 1 June 2007 to members on the register at 2 May 2007. The latter date should have read 4 May 2007 and the dividend record date is hereby accordingly amended.
