Product Range and Properties
VF4
A binder-free glass fibre filter that removes particles greater than 0.7µm, e.g., some bacteria.
VF3
A binder-free glass fibre filter that removes particles greater than 1.2µm, e.g., yeast cells
VF5
A binder-free glass fiber filter that removes particles greater than 1µm but with higher loading capacity than VF3 and VF4
GF/AVA
A polyvinyl alcohol-bound glass fibre filter that retains medium-sized particulates. Offers improved strength compared to binder-free materials.
MF1
A polyvinyl alcohol-bound glass fiber filter that removes particles lgreater than 2µm with moderate loading capacity, e.g., red cells and platelets
VF1
A binder-free glass fiber filter that removes particles greater than 2.5µm with high loading capacity, e.g., red cells
VF2
A polyvinyl alcolhol-bound glass fiber filter that removes particles greater than 3µm, e.g., mammalian cells
GF/DVA
A thick, polyvinyl alcohol-bound glass fibre filter for rapid filtration and removal of coarse particulates.
VFE
A binder-free glass fiber filter that removes particles greater than 5µm, e.g., human white cells or epithilial cells
